ABOUT US

The idea of Kānara was born in Sydney, Australia after Kānara's founder Lynn Lanigan attended a candle making class, where her idea to produce beautiful soy wax candles grew from there. Lynn returned back to Wanaka and kicked off the idea at the Wanaka Farmers Market, now named the Wanaka Artisan Market.

Kānara have a base of 8-10 scents in various size jars, as well as gift bags, melts, tea lights and spa lights. We recycle our jars in the hope of reusing sustainable containers, which are cleaned and used time and time again. Another popular product are our custom scents, where we can mix, match or create your favourite scents into candles.
